The FCC has announced a 20.7% increase in Category Two (C2) budgets for the next five-year cycle (Funding Year 2026 through FY2030), adjusting for inflation.

What’s Changing:

  • Minimum Budgets (Funding Floors)
    Small schools/libraries: Increased from $25,000 → $30,175
  • Budget Multiplier for Schools
    Increased from $167/student → $201.57/student
