Thinking About Applying for E-Rate? Here’s Where to Start!
Preparation for FY 2026–2027 Begins NOW!
If you’re planning to apply for E-Rate funding for FY 2026–2027, the time to prepare is now. By November 1st, your E-Rate Productivity Center (EPC) portal must be up to date with your school’s demographic information — including addresses, any new buildings, and most importantly, student enrollment data.
Why is enrollment so important this year? FY 2026–2027 marks the start of a new five-year Category Two budget cycle. Your budget will be calculated based on current enrollment figures, and your E-Rate discount level depends on the number of students eligible for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
Don’t risk delays or missed funding opportunities — make sure your data is accurate and complete.
